WHY treating dielectric fluids is important?
Efficient and reliable operation of transformers, circuit-breakers, and other types of electrical equipments, depends upon the electrical and physical properties of the dielectric fluid which in service may be seriously affected, resulting in reduced operating efficiency or even equipment failure. In order to act as an insulant, a coolant, and an arc-extinguishing medium , dielectric fluids must have some basic properties, and especially a high dielectric strength. Now, in service, the dielectric fluids basic properties may be affected by oxidation, condensation and other contaminants such as solid impurities and dissolved gases.

60 years of know-how in the fields of dielectric oil treatment (mineral oil, ester, silicone oil, Jarilec, Midel, FC72 Etc..), enable ARRAS MAXEI to offer specific and standard solutions to treat your fluids. Our recognized competence in thermodynamics ensures a complete control of the process and the respect for the quality of your oil. Working on the principles of filtration, dehydration and vacuum degasification, ARRAS MAXEI Oil Treatment plants are particularly recommended to maintain, dry and fill up your transformers and circuit breakers.

By removing solid impurities, dissolved moisture and gases from insulating or by fuller earth regeneration, they enable to restore the oil dielectric properties, and thus to extend the useful life of your electrical equipment.

ARRAS MAXEI can offer you the treatment on-line of the transformers. This equipment is mainly used in substation and enables you to realize the oil treatment of a transformer at work and on-line.

ARRAS MAXEI can offer you also the regeneration of your dielectric oils.
text Oil heating group :
The oil heater ARRAS MAXEI enables the oil heating of a transformer for being treated. It is composed of a pump, a heater and a fine filtration as an option.

The drying groups ARRAS MAXEI ranging from 500 to 2000 m3/h enable the drying of the active parts of transformers in addition to the oil treatment operations.
text The filtration groups :
The filtration groups ARRAS MAXEI ranging from 3000 to 12000 l/h ensure a fine oil filtration before being used. With filtration 1µ nominal in standard, these ones can be equipped with a filtration 1µ absolute by adding a second filter at outlet.

The treated dielectric oil is stored in a tank to be used for filling and extra oil on transformer.
