CONCEPTION OF THE STANDARD POLYMERIZATION OVENS

text The heating of the load is made through warm pulsed air. On the air circuit are placed two openings with flow regulation.
The heating batteries placed on the roof are composed of a group of very high quality resistances placed under reinforcement in steel tube; their specific load is low.

The ventilation inside the oven is horizontal : the air sucked in the serviceable volume of the oven through the hearings of a lateral vertical wall, then driven by motor-ventilator on the heating battery placed on wall. Then, the heated air is discharged horizontally in the serviceable part of the oven through the hearings of a vertical wall on the opposite side of the first one.

The regulation of hearings enables to optimize the gradient of temperature inside the oven.

The control panel process fixed on the oven contains among others all the components useful to the control of the motors and heating but also:

text A regulator programmer linked to a probe PT100 for the programming of polymerisation cycles.
An adjustable overheating security thermostat.
A clock for recorded starting for the realization of the cycles by night..

The oven is composed of :

* A frame in special sectional iron.

* Sheet metal panels fitted on the frame are forming the inner and outer coating.

* Heating insulation is made of plates in glass wool with thickness of 80 mm semi-rigid type distributed between inner and outer plates.

* A ventilator of air mixing enabling an important air renewal for the control of the gradient of temperature.(see temperature curve chapter 4 PROCESS)

* A heat insulated door with two wings opening at 90° to release totally the front side of the oven.

* UA maintenance trolley for the parts’ inlet and outlet. The zone of the parts’ setting down is equipped with a retention tray to get the varnish draining during the impregnation.

* A control panel located on the right side of the oven and connected to the heating circuits and the motors.
